Growing Wild

Committed to connecting young children to nature in a world of growing screen-time and indoor pursuits, an entire Melbourne Zoo precinct was redeveloped to encourage young children to unlock their imagination and ‘go wild’ through nature-based play. Designed with Jeavons Landscape Architects and Arterial Design, the space features indoor and outdoor learning spaces. The success of the learning space saw school numbers grow, resulting in the development of a second outdoor learning space.
