“The cultural trail incorporates the voices and stories of Traditional Owners, providing an understanding of the impacts of colonisation to the Moonee Ponds Creek and to the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people. Truth-telling and cultural knowledge referencing Dreamtime spirits, traditional ecological knowledge and stories provide the visitor with an immersive experience in the heart of a highly urbanised and altered landscape, whilst enhancing the naturalisation program for the creek.”
