Wilami Wunmabil Trail

When a section of Moonee Ponds Creek was redeveloped as part of Melbourne Water’s re-imagining your Creek program, a cultural trail was also planned. Kelp Creative worked with Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation to co-designed storytelling that focuses on Wurundjeri culture. The trail, named after the Traditional name of the creek, includes artworks by Wurundjeri artists, signage, audio recordings of Elders and an web-based app. Graphics by Nuttshell, 3D design and fabrication by Aeroplane Workshop and app design and delivery by Sandpit.
