Japanese garden design

Interpreting the Japanese Garden at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha had to balance the desire for storytelling with the garden’s design intent, without the aid of technology. The solution, designed with Person Place Thing, was REVEALED. These four hidden statements that reveal themselves, just as the garden is designed to do. The words were carefully chosen, as were their positions and design, to add a subtle yet meaningful interpretive layer to the existing garden. Fabrication by Armsign.
