Just 25km northwest of Cairns, Kuranda is nestled alongside the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. Kuranda has changed much over the years and for many, has outgrown its title as a ‘village in the rainforest’. Kuranda is Australia’s most famous village in a rainforest, and one of Tropical North Queensland’s iconic locations.
