Interpretation strategy

As part of Werribee Open Range Zoo’s expansion project, Kelp Creative worked with Aeroplane Workshop and Person Place Thing to develop a strategic approach to storytelling for five new experience zones. Stakeholder workshops established the interpretive framework including themes, stories and overall narrative, which informed a subsequent interpretive design phase which developed design concepts to bring the narrative to life. Elements of the Elephant Sanctuary interpretation were delivered in 2025 by Aeroplane Workshop and Person Place Thing.
